Ladies team win Loughborough Cup
Despite playing with 6 throughout, the ladies' team twice overpowered Loughborough before establishing a lead in the final against Nottingham. A great victory to crown a good inaugural season for the girls, whose trophy will join the Plate runners-up trophy won by the men last year.
Both teams are shown below following the victory.

Mens team finish second in league
Following a third place finish last season, Warwick started this season hoping to do better. The team guaranteed at least a second place finish with victory over Essex University on the 14th January (following a defeat earlier this season) giving the team an unassailable margin over third-placed Cranfield, who they beat 40-27 in the final game of the season.
The team that beat Essex is pictured below. Warwick were also beaten quarter-finalists in the University Championships and face a Plate challenge against first division basement club Liverpool Speke Garston.

Ladies team begin first ever season
The newly formed ladies team played their first matchday at Leyton on the 29th October. After a narrow defeat to Essex (15-13), the team gained its first ever victory with a massive win against Imperial/UCL, before putting in a great performance against Great Dane, completely outperforming the British giants towards the end of the first half, coming in level at the break, before tiredness got the better of the team.
A solid performance, and a solid base - with the coach believing that there's a lot more to come from this team, pictured below.
